This eBook came about after I wrote an eBook on investing into pot stocks - Medicinal Marijuana: 15 Marijuana companies that could make you a millionaire. During my extensive research for that book, I became convinced that the information on cannabis/medicinal marijuana and its benefits to our society should be made available to as many people as possible. So, once I published my book on investing in cannabis companies, I vowed that I would become an advocate for spreading the
word of medicinal marijuana and how it can be used in many medical applications, to help millions of people around the World.
Quite frankly, I feel that far from marijuana being an illegal substance, it is criminal that much of this information has
been withheld from the general public for so long! The vilification of this ancient, beneficial plant must stop. There are thousands of clinical studies and trials that have been completed, so the old excuses of the big pharmaceutical companies no longer hold any weight. I’m sure that it is true that cannabis/marijuana doesn’t help everybody but the overwhelming evidence seems to be that it can help the vast majority of people. I have gathered together part of my research material and
compiled what I hope is information that is understandable to everyday people. Inevitably there is some medical jargon that could not be avoided within the text.
The health benefits of cannabidiol (CBD) is this book's primary focus. It explores the similarities, differences, uses and benefits of hemp, cannabis and medical marijuana along with the interplay of THC and CBD. I explain what medicinal marijuana is and explore how it can be used in the treatment of many medical conditions. I also list which cannabis drugs and treatments are freely available and where to obtain them around the World. In the appendix, I have made lists of Youtube videos, books and scientific reports and support organisations, which I hope will save you many hours of searching and trawling through the internet.
I believe that medicinal marijuana has the potential to usher in a paradigm shift in our treatment of pain and many other serious illnesses. Before plunging head first into any new treatment it is essential to understand at least the basics of how the underlying product works. Therefore, this book concentrates on explaining what medicinal marijuana is and how it works in the human body.
I want to be a part of the information chain that brings this ancient medicinal plant back into the lives of millions of people around the World!
